For our movement to be global, we need local chapters serving countries around the world. These will develop expertise in their nations' securities laws, regulations and market conventions to help determine how the Global Proxy Exchange will operate in each jurisdiction. There is going to be one global proxy exchange, but it will need to have a different footprint in each country. Local chapters will take the lead in determining the nature of that footprint—primarily from a legal standpoint, but also from a cultural standpoint .
