Field agents
make things
happen.

In October 2008, we started recruiting our first field agents. The pace of recruitment is accelerating, but
we want to take a moment to celebrate the pioneers who signed up during the first critical month. What is
really impressive about the list is the caliber of the volunteers. Most have made significant contributions to
shareholder activism, corporate governance or socially responsible investing. Several are famous for
those efforts.

When we first announced the Field Agent Program, we stated a goal that field agents be elite investors—
investors not distracted by the Wall Street folly of forever chasing the next hot stock, but smart
professionals and activists who understand that real investing is about engagement.
