Will parties be able to buy or sell proxy rights on the exchange?

No. The purchase or sale of proxy rights has potential for abuse. Courts have generally not permitted proxy rights to be bought or sold. The Global Proxy Exchange will not facilitate payments for rights or any sort of negotiations related to the transfer of rights. Transfers of rights must be unilateral and at the sole discretion of the transferring party. Safeguards to ensure this is the case are discussed in responses to some of the questions below.
