The Investor Suffrage Movement is a fledgling grassroots movement to implement a Global Proxy Exchange. The movement was launched in March 2008 by Glyn Holton, an author and professional with nearly twenty years experience in finance. He had previously published the concept of a proxy exchange in 2006.

Our plan is for the proxy exchange to be implemented incrementally, starting with volunteers informally granting each other proxy rights and attending shareholder meetings. Over time, we will coordinate our efforts through an on-line networking forum. That forum will be a precursor to—and eventually evolve into—the fully-automated Global Proxy Exchange.
